The short version
- This policy covers every mobile game published by Lunar Interactive Arts on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
- You don't need an account to play. Your progress is saved on your device.
- Our games are free and show ads. Ad, analytics and crash-reporting partners receive device and usage information so they can show ads, measure them and keep the games working.
- Where the law requires it, we ask your permission before showing personalised ads. On iPhone and iPad, Apple's tracking prompt asks too. You can change your mind at any time.
- We don't sell your name, email address or other contact details.
- Questions, or want your data deleted? Email support@lunar-interactive-arts.com.
1. Who we are
Our mobile games are made and published by Lunar Interactive Arts Ltd ("we", "us" or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 12044811. Our registered office is Flat D, 102 Lady Margaret Road, London N19 5EX, United Kingdom.
Under UK and EU data protection law, we are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
2. Which games this covers
This policy applies to all mobile games and apps published by Lunar Interactive Arts Ltd on Google Play and the Apple App Store (each a "Game"). That includes:
- Word Search World Tours (Android package com.lunarinteractivearts.worldtourswordsearch, previously listed as World Tours - Word Search)
- Upcoming World Tours games, including Mahjong, Sudoku, TriPeaks Solitaire and Jigsaw
- Any other game listed under our developer name on Google Play or the App Store, now or in the future
Not every Game uses every service described here. Each Game's store listing (the Data safety section on Google Play and the App Privacy section on the App Store) shows what that Game collects.
Our browser games (such as online-solitaire-play.com) and our language learning sites (such as learnjapaneseonlinehub.com) have their own privacy policies, linked at the bottom of every page on those sites. This policy does not cover them.
Our Games are provided free of charge and "as is".
3. Information we collect
Information you give us
You don't need to register or create an account to play. If you contact us, for example for support, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
Information collected automatically
When you play, we and our partners may automatically collect:
- Device information, such as device model, operating system and version, language, time zone and screen size
- Device identifiers, such as the advertising ID (Google Advertising ID on Android, or Apple's IDFA on iOS when you allow tracking) and app-specific identifiers
- The IP address of your device, and your approximate location derived from it
- How you use the Game, such as levels played, session length, features used and in-game events
- Ad information, such as which ads were shown and whether you interacted with them
- Crash reports and performance diagnostics
Information stored on your device
Your game progress, such as levels completed, coins, collected items and settings, is stored on your device. It is removed if you uninstall the Game or clear its data.
In-app purchases
If you buy something in a Game, the payment is handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never receive your card or bank details. We receive a record of the purchase so we can deliver what you bought.
4. Location
Our Games use your approximate location, at country or city level, usually worked out from your IP address. Our Games do not need precise GPS location to play. We and our partners use approximate location to:
- Apply the right privacy and consent rules for your country
- Show ads that are relevant to your country and in the right language
- Understand, in aggregate, where our players are so we can improve our Games
5. How we use information
We use the information above for these purposes. Where UK or EU law applies, the table shows the legal basis we rely on.
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Running the Game, saving progress and delivering rewards and purchases | Performance of our agreement with you |
| Showing ads that keep the Games free | Legitimate interests |
| Personalised advertising and ad measurement | Your consent |
| Analytics to understand how the Games are played and improve them | Legitimate interests, or consent where required |
| Crash reporting and fixing bugs | Legitimate interests |
| Preventing fraud and keeping our Games secure | Legitimate interests |
| Replying to your messages and support requests | Legitimate interests |
| Sending news or offers about our Games | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
| Meeting our legal obligations | Legal obligation |
Some Games can send reminders, for example that a daily reward is waiting. These are scheduled on your device, only after you allow notifications, and you can turn them off at any time in your device settings.
6. Advertising and your choices
Our Games are paid for by ads. We use Appodeal to manage them. Appodeal works with a number of ad networks, which may bid to show you an ad. To do this they receive information such as your advertising ID, device information, approximate location and ad interactions. The companies authorised to sell our ad space are listed in our app-ads.txt file.
Consent. If you are in the UK, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, a consent form appears the first time you open a Game. It asks whether you agree to personalised ads. If you don't agree, you still see ads, but they are not based on your activity. You can reopen the privacy settings from inside the Game where available, or contact us.
iPhone and iPad. Before any Game uses your device's advertising identifier, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asks your permission. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, the identifier is not shared.
Limiting ad tracking on your device:
- Android: Settings, then Privacy (or Google), then Ads, then delete or reset your advertising ID
- iOS: Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Tracking, and turn off Allow Apps to Request to Track
7. Analytics, crash reports and AI
We use analytics and crash-reporting tools to understand how players use our Games and to find and fix problems. We look at this information in aggregated or pseudonymised form wherever possible.
Some features may use artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, for example to tailor content, suggest features or adjust difficulty. Any such processing follows this policy and applicable law. We don't use AI to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
8. Third-party services
Our Games use some or all of these third-party services, each of which handles data under its own privacy policy:
- Google Play Services
- AdMob
- Google Analytics for Firebase
- Firebase Crashlytics
- Meta (Facebook)
- Appodeal
- Unity
- AppLovin
- Adjust
- Apple (App Store purchases and services on iOS)
9. Sharing and disclosure
We share information only as this policy describes:
- With the advertising, analytics and service providers listed above, for the purposes described
- With trusted providers who work on our behalf, have no independent use of the information and have agreed to protect it
- Where required by law, for example to comply with a court order or similar legal process
- Where we believe in good faith that disclosure is needed to protect our rights, protect your safety or others', investigate fraud or respond to a government request
- If our business is sold or merged, in which case the buyer must keep to this policy
Under some US state laws, sharing advertising identifiers with ad partners for targeted advertising may count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out as described in Advertising and your choices.
10. International transfers
Our partners may process information outside the UK and EEA, including in the United States. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
11. How long we keep data
We keep support emails for as long as we need to deal with your request, and for a reasonable time afterwards. Automatically collected information is kept for up to 24 months, after which it may be kept only in aggregated form that no longer identifies you. Our partners keep data according to their own policies.
12. Your rights
Everyone
- You can stop all collection of information by a Game by uninstalling it.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or limit tracking, as described in Advertising and your choices.
- You can turn off notifications in your device settings.
UK, EEA and Switzerland
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You can also complain to a data protection authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), but we would welcome the chance to help first.
United States
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.
13. Deleting your data
Because our Games don't use accounts, most of your data lives on your device. To delete it:
- On your device: uninstall the Game, or clear its data in your device settings. This removes your progress and settings.
- With us and our partners: email support@lunar-interactive-arts.com with the subject "Delete my data", the name of the Game and, if you can, your device's advertising ID. We will delete what we hold and ask our partners to do the same, and reply within one month.
Some information may be kept where the law requires it, such as purchase records.
14. Children
Our Games are not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). If we learn that a child under 13 has given us personal information, we will delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, please contact us at support@lunar-interactive-arts.com.
15. Security
We use physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the information we handle, and we limit access to the people who need it to run and improve our Games. Data is encrypted in transit. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee that information will never be accessed without permission.
16. This website
This website, lunar-interactive-arts.com, sets no cookies and runs no analytics or ads. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will also let you know in our Games where we can.
This version takes effect on 18 October 2026. It replaces the version dated 20 May 2026.
